She didn't see me leap Down the stairs to have a peek; She thought that I was grounded alone up in my roomThen, I saw daddy turn away from Mrs. Claus so harshly and said “goodbye”Oh, what a laugh it would have been If Mommy had only seen Daddy ditch Mrs. Claus last night.
